Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years of previous scheduling or related experience; healthcare scheduling experience preferred.
• Demonstrated software proficiency required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assume responsibility, work independently, and demonstrate analytical judgment.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively to varied audiences in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• healthcare scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the Community Director, Area Director or Admissions/Clinical Manager, the Scheduling Coordinator helps ensure referral and/or current patient visits are scheduled effectively and efficiently based on patient/family need and appropriate Hosparus Health team member availability.
• This individual is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of referral and/or current patient visits and assisting in the maintenance of staff schedules for Hosparus Health community-focused admission and clinical teams.
• The Scheduling Coordinator will maintain Hosparus Health team member availability lists and serve as a point of contact for admission and clinical team members, patients, and various internal departments and other communities, as necessary, regarding the scheduling of referral and current patient visits.
