As the Scheduling Assistant in the Kelowna Region, you’ll play a key role in coordinating staffing for our long-term care, assisted living, and independent living communities. You’ll ensure coverage for planned and unplanned vacancies while delivering exceptional service to our teams and promoting a culture of safety, wellness, and respect. Please note that hours are 0500–1500, Sunday to Tuesday one week, and Sunday to Wednesday the following week. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, the Scheduling Assistant is responsible for filling short-call, long-call, and vacation shifts in compliance with collective agreements and established policies. You’ll manage scheduling systems, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with leaders and team members to ensure appropriate staffing coverage. With a strong focus on communication, accuracy, and service, your work supports our mission to foster vibrant, person-directed communities.
