About The Position

Due to exciting growth, we are seeking a number of experienced Schedulers to join our teams. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of planning and scheduling activities across our programs. You will develop and maintain the Bill of Materials (BoM), ensuring all records are accurate and can be traced through the lifecycle of the project. You will also provide reliable delivery forecasts and identify any scheduling risks that may delay the project. Development, continual updating, and regular analysis of the Integrated Project Master Schedule (IPMS) for the business are key responsibilities of this position. Equally as important is the management and reporting of the schedule variances. Importantly, you’ll be required to identify the quantitative schedule risk. In addition, you’ll implement and maintain project control structures, ensuring consistency with the project scope and reporting requirements. Your work will play a key part in supporting Babcock's Contracts for the total asset management of the Anzac Class frigates through to the end of their life. This is a permanent position located in Henderson WA.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Project Management or a related field or the plan to obtain this qualification.
  • Experience tracking project progress.
  • Experience preparing reports for distribution.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation including risk registers, change logs and progress reports.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar scheduler/planner role.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Working understanding of earned value analysis, critical path method and associated reporting.
  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an appropriate level as per role requirements.
  • Hold a valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Responsibilities
