About The Position

WSP is seeking a Scheduler to join our Project Controls team. This role can be based out of our locations in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco. The Scheduler will develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases, create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects, and develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities. The role involves establishing baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles, as well as reviewing schedule updates, generating comparison reports, and analyzing variances. The Scheduler will assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays, providing recommendations for project and executive leadership. This position requires partnering with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion, performing time impact analyses to quantify delay effects, supporting recovery planning, and conducting schedule recovery reviews. Additionally, the role involves conducting what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules.
  • Experience with contract change order management.
  • Experience performing Time Impact Analyses.
  • Project financial forecasting capability.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with large and complex client programs involving one or more project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting.
  • Building construction or project management experience.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities
