Scheduler (Full Time)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for a full time SCHEDULER position. This role manages the daily scheduling process for all SmartService vending routes, utilizing Cantaloupe scheduling software to dynamically schedule each route and merchandising tools. The Scheduler will also act as a Back-up line Pick Line Supervisor and Picker as needed, communicating daily with drivers and CSMs regarding schedule changes, POG changes, merchandising, missed picks, skipped stops, etc. Updates will be provided to senior management, and progress will be shared with drivers. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Requirements
- Previous Excel experience required.
- Route driver experience at the branch (preferable).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Computer technical skills (excel, analytics, new technologies, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Manages the daily scheduling process for vending and markets.
- Utilizes Cantaloupe scheduling software to dynamically schedule each route.
- Merchandises each route utilizing Cantaloupe merchandising tools.
- Acts as a Back-up line Pick Line Supervisor as needed.
- Communicates daily with drivers and CSMs regarding schedule changes, POG changes, merchandising, missed picks, skipped stops, etc.
- Provides updates to senior management and shares progress with drivers.
- Acts as Back-up Picker as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
