Requirements

High school diploma required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a scheduling role
Proficiency in medical scheduling software and EMR systems
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and maintain a high level of accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Bilingual

Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and staff via phone and email

Responsibilities

Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, considering factors such as urgency, clinician availability, and patient preferences
Handle high volumes of phone calls and emails, responding to patient inquiries and addressing scheduling concerns
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
Collaborate with healthcare clinicians and administrative staff to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource utilization
Process appointment changes, cancellations, and reschedules promptly
Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality regulations and facility policies
Assisting at the infusion centers in Northern California as the front office admin as needed
