About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. Responsibilities

  • Schedules patients’ appointments, receives visitors, verifies insurance, collects payments, and performs clerical duties.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.

  • Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
  • Schedules and confirms patients’ appointments, verifies insurance, and collects payments.
  • Provides clerical support for departmental staff members; ensures insurance information is documented correctly and accurately in patients’ charts to help prevent claim errors.
  • Receives visitors; provides excellent customer service, utilizing efficient time management skills.
  • Articulates information clearly, concisely, and consistently.
