This role supports the Executive Assistant to the Attorney General by managing all aspects of the Attorney General’s schedule and serving as a primary point of contact for internal teams, external agencies, and constituents. The position works closely with Executive and Senior Staff, Outreach, and Constituent Services to ensure events are properly coordinated and staffed. It requires exceptional organization, strong communication skills, flexibility to handle last-minute scheduling changes, and the ability to provide accurate, timely briefing materials for meetings and events. Preferred candidates will have experience managing the complex calendar of a top-level executive.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Competence in multi-tasking and flexibility in work assignments
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to process high volume of data, documents and other information quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work with or without supervision, independently and as a part of a team
  • Good personal interaction skills, works well with others and is a team player
  • Requires flexibility to communicate with AG outside standard business hours and to respond to last-minute scheduling changes promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the Executive Assistant to the Attorney General
  • Responsible for managing all matters pertaining to the Attorney General’s schedule.
  • Primary point of contact for communicating with internal and external agencies and constituents
  • Works closely with Executive and Senior Staff
  • Works closely with Outreach and Constituent Services to ensure all external events are staffed and organized by the proper outreach representative.
  • Ensures all briefing materials and items needed for meetings and events are provided to the Attorney General and any staff involved.
  • Other duties as assigned.
