About The Position

The Schedule Manager partners with project teams to build, maintain, and communicate the contract schedule from pursuit through closeout. You’ll translate design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into a clear path forward—helping teams make informed decisions and deliver predictable outcomes. Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working both in the office and in the field, with travel to projects in CT/RI/MA/NH as needed.
  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing and the ability to facilitate schedule development with project teams.
  • Strong documentation and organization skills; clear communication (written, verbal, and in meetings).
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6) and common project platforms (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Support pursuits and preconstruction by developing high-level schedules and milestone plans.
  • Partner with Client Executives, estimating/preconstruction, and A/E teams to align sequencing and expectations.
  • Contribute to GMP and logistics planning with a focus on risk awareness and schedule realism.
  • Develop, manage, and execute the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Incorporate design deliverables, submittals, procurement, construction activities, and commissioning into an integrated plan.
  • Provide regular updates and clear schedule narratives highlighting progress, constraints, and upcoming handoffs.
  • Analyze the critical path, identify impacts, and adjust logic based on field conditions—proposing recovery options when needed.
  • Maintain schedule data within project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6) and coordinate cost/resource inputs as required.
  • Evaluate schedule risk factors (labor, productivity, inspections, material availability, weather, utilities, logistics) and communicate mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare monthly schedule status reporting for leadership.
  • Coach and strengthen scheduling capability across project teams (PMs, supers, engineers), sharing best practices and templates.
  • Invest in your own growth through technical and leadership development.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients and A/E partners throughout the project lifecycle.
