Gray Construction is seeking a Construction Schedule Manager to join their team. Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Understand the logic relationships between the various components of turnkey food and beverage manufacturing projects.
  • Fundamental understanding of design, process design, procurement, processing, packaging, material handling and building systems.
  • Ability to generate schedules using process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) as well as traditional construction documents.
  • Possess the leadership skills to communicate and implement the approach across all project workstreams.
  • Technically capable and experienced in the use of the most recent version(s) of Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software and e-mail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be physically present in the Lexington office.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing schedule preparation, communication, review, validation and interpretation during the design, construction, commissioning and start-up of multiple manufacturing projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that schedules are produced, maintained, updated and issued on a regular basis during the duration of the projects.
  • Responsible for monitoring trends and alerting management as to possible, both positive and negative, effects of those trends.
  • Required to travel to jobsites as necessary.
