About The Position

CHICAGOLAND HANDYMAN OPPORTUNITIES! Are you looking for a fun, challenging job that actually keeps you moving? We manage over 1,500 homes and small multi-unit properties across Chicagoland, and we're known for being fast, responsive, and just a little different from the rest. We don't do "just okay." We fix it right the first time, communicate clearly, and always look for ways to improve. We offer real stability and opportunities for our team members to grow right along with us! You'll start your day from home, as we send your schedule the night before so you can hit the ground running. You will handle 3–5 jobs a day at a variety of homes, apartments, and townhomes. You will upload notes and photos from each job on a company-provided phone. You will stay in sync with dispatch and your teammates throughout the day-no one is ever left hanging. Be our eyes and ears: Speak up when you see something off; we trust your expertise in the field. Finish strong: Wrap up your day knowing you actually made a difference for a resident.

Requirements

Intermediate Drywall Repair: Proven ability to float, texture, and match finishes seamlessly.
Minor Plumbing: Expertise in changing faucets and supply lines, troubleshooting systems, and swapping toilets.
Minor Electrical: Solid understanding of electrical systems, including replacing light fixtures and outlets.
Project Management: The ability to work independently and manage your own time to finish a full scope of work.
General Repairs: All-around handiness in carpentry, flooring repairs, millwork, tilework, basic masonry, and alarm systems.
At least 1 year of residential maintenance experience (more is always a plus!).
Solid hands-on skills across multiple trades.
Your own tools, a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver's license.
Comfort with mobile tech-we use apps to keep the business moving.
