About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, removes scanned products, and puts them away according to the company system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt. It is on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize products as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Perform basic tests on electronics to assess their general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for scanning.
• Quickly remove scanned products from the scanning area.
• Move products to the bays and shelve them according to auction and lot number.
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and the mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
