About The Position

The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, removes scanned products from the scanning area, and puts them away according to the company system. MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells the items individually to the public through online auctions. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects.
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged.
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition.
• Move products to the conveyor for scanners to process.
• Quickly remove scanned products from the scanning area.
• Move products to the bays and place them on shelves according to auction and lot number.
• Help the team meet quantity and quality goals.
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and the mobile scan area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
