DMV - Scan Prep Operator
About The Position
The Scan Prep Operator is part of the Quality Assurance Unit within Vehicle Services. The Vehicle Services Section issues titles and license plates for more than 10 million vehicles registered in North Carolina and supports customers through in-person, mail, and online services. The position prepares and scans vehicle titles and registration documents, retrieves documents from North Carolina License Plate Agencies, Online Dealers, and DMV sections, and reviews legal documents to ensure required information is present and compliance with NC DMV laws and procedures is maintained. The selected candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or push/pull carts of equal or greater weight.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and one year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or push/pull carts of equal or greater weight.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a computer for data entry.
- Experience examining documents for accuracy.
- Experience using office equipment such as a copier, fax machine, or scanner.
- Experience maintaining professional relationships with coworkers and external stakeholders.
