About The Position
This position is responsible for weighing and labeling product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The job involves catching paws in a bag at the paw hopper scale and placing bags in a box, or catching paws in a bag under the paw bagging scale. The employee will add or remove paws to achieve the desired weight. Once the weight is accurate, the bag of paws will be placed in a box located beside the hopper scale. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements
- Must provide government identification number to verify previous Tyson employment history.
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted.
- Rehires are accepted after 180 days, but Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
- Catch paws in a bag at the paw hopper scale and place bags in the box.
- Catch paws in a bag under the paw bagging scale.
- Add or remove paws to achieve the desired weight.
- Place the bag of paws in a box located beside the hopper scale once the weight is accurate.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
