About The Position
This position is responsible for weighing and labeling product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Scaler will catch paws in a bag at the paw hopper scale and place bags in the box. They will catch paws in a bag under the paw bagging scale, and add or remove paws to achieve the desired weight. Once the weight is accurate, they will place the bag of paws in a box located beside the hopper scale. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Must provide government identification number to verify previous Tyson employment history.
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted.
- Rehires are accepted after 180 days, but Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information for consideration.
