About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Maintenance Scale Tech must possess a minimum of 6 months of electronic and maintenance work/experience and/or education documented in the work/education history section of the application (can be a combination of employer(s)/education, if it equals at least 6 months.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work/experience and/or education
• Minimum of 6 months of electronic and maintenance work/experience and/or education
• Basic computer knowledge/skills
• Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
• Must possess mechanical skills
• Must have good trouble shooting skills
• Must be dependable and responsible
• Must be Safety Oriented(learning and following Core Safety mandates
• Must be willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead
• Must be flexible to work in cold and or hot temperatures
• Must be cooperative and follow instruction carefully
• Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Must be willing to work 5-6 days a week with overtime

Responsibilities

• Must perform pm task on equipment daily and weekly
• Must perform trouble shooting activities daily
• Must be proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
• Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly
• Must be willing to travel for advanced training classes
