About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of electronic and maintenance work/experience and/or education
  • Basic computer knowledge/skills
  • Knowledge and ability to work with 480 volt 3 phase electricity
  • Experience with pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical automated process control system, PLC operations, inverters, and basic electricity
  • Mechanical skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Dependable and responsible
  • Safety Oriented (learning and following Core Safety mandates)
  • Willing to stoop, bend, climb ladders and work overhead
  • Willing to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to weld using appropriate tools accordingly
  • Willing to travel for advanced training classes

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Performing PM tasks on equipment daily and weekly
  • Performing troubleshooting activities daily
  • Being proactive in reducing downtime on all mechanical equipment
  • Welding using appropriate tools accordingly
  • Traveling for advanced training classes
