About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a scale and bagger system and keeping accurate count of all materials used while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves operating the scale & bagger system, maintaining accurate weights, assisting in product evaluation for weight accuracy, and aiding in clean-up and sanitation following USDA/Tyson guidelines. The team member will also maintain and keep an accurate count on all materials used and perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor. A review of the applicant's safety record will be conducted, and all team members are expected to follow safe practices, including the use of personal protective equipment when required, and adhere to all sanitary procedures and policies. The job requires understanding and following instructions given by the Supervisor.

Requirements

6 months continuous work history in 2 years
Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.

Responsibilities

Operate scale & bagger system.
