About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a scale and bagger system and keeping accurate count of all materials used while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves operating the scale & bagger system, maintaining accurate weights, assisting in product evaluation for weight accuracy, and performing clean-up and sanitation according to USDA/Tyson guidelines. The Scale Operator will also maintain an accurate count of all materials used and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. A review of the applicant's safety record will be conducted, and all team members are expected to follow safe practices, including the use of personal protective equipment when required, and adhere to all sanitary procedures and policies. The role requires understanding and following instructions from the Supervisor. The pay rate is $18.25/Hour plus a $2.00 shift differential for the 2nd shift. The schedule is from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM until production ends.

Requirements

6 months continuous work history in 2 years
Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
