About The Position

Tallies products or raw materials such as, chicken parts or feathers, SPN or Blood received from suppliers or by and from farm workers, for production purposes by performing the following duties. Computes and records totals of tallied figures. Examines and sorts items. Records number and types of defects for quality control purposes. Counts sample quantity of parts onto ratio balance scale and computes total number of parts. Issues receipts.

Requirements

• Must have 3 months of work history with one employer within the last 2 years listed on the application.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid state drivers license.
• Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to taste or smell.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Computes and records totals of tallied figures.

• Keep work area clean and free of clutter(housekeeping).
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).
• Using correct tool for each job assignment.
• Report injury of oneself or coworker to management.
• Report job hazards immediately (correct immediately when possible) and document.
• Inspect all tools and materials for defects and safety issues.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
