About The Position

Signature Labor Services is hiring an experienced Scaffold Erector for work at commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. The position pays $28–$31 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay and full benefits. Candidates from Charlotte, Rock Hill, Concord, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply. The role involves erecting and disassembling swing stage equipment, cleaning and repairing equipment in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks at job sites and the warehouse, and completing other tasks assigned by the site supervisor. Employees must have the required personal protective equipment and comply with the company’s Substance Abuse Prevention Policy. Employment offers may be conditioned on passing a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen. Signature Labor Services is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience erecting swing stage scaffolding.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 75 pounds or more unassisted.
Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to perform physical tasks for a full shift and work all hours assigned.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Must pass a drug screen and all required background checks.
Must have proper personal protective equipment: hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and work gloves.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience on a commercial construction site is a plus.

Responsibilities

Erect and disassemble swing stage equipment at commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites.
Clean and repair swing stage equipment while working in the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks at job sites and in the warehouse.
Complete other tasks assigned by the site supervisor.
Perform assigned tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.
Complete physical assignments for a full shift and work all hours assigned.
Comply with the company’s Substance Abuse Prevention Policy.
