About The Position

Signature Labor Services is hiring experienced Scaffold Erectors for commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites in Columbia, South Carolina. The role pays $28–$31 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay and full benefits. Candidates from Charlotte, Rock Hill, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply. Employees erect and disassemble swing stage equipment, clean and repair equipment in the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and perform other tasks assigned by the site supervisor. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, able to perform physical work for a full shift, and able to work assigned hours. Employees must provide proper personal protective equipment and comply with the company’s Substance Abuse Prevention Policy. Offers may be conditioned on passing a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience erecting swing stage scaffolding.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift more than 75 pounds unassisted.
Ability to complete physically active assignments for a full shift.
Ability to work all assigned hours.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
Must pass a drug screen and required background checks.
Must have proper personal protective equipment: hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and work gloves.
Must comply with the company Substance Abuse Prevention Policy.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience on a commercial construction site is a plus.

Responsibilities

Erect and disassemble swing stage equipment on commercial, residential, and industrial construction sites.
Clean and repair swing stage equipment in the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks at job sites and in the warehouse.
Complete other tasks assigned by the site supervisor.
Perform assignments in a timely manner under minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions.
