About The Position
High Tide Technologies is a leading provider of SCADA and utility monitoring solutions with over 20 years of experience and ongoing growth. Headquartered in Nashville, TN, we serve more than 1,700 customers across the United States, Canada, and Central & South America supporting utilities of all sizes with innovative technology and reliable service. We are seeking a full-time SCADA Technology & Business Intern to support cross-functional teams across technology, operations, sales, and business functions. This role provides hands-on experience with software systems, data analysis, customer engagement, and emerging technologies within the water and wastewater industry. If you are currently enrolled in a technical or business program of study and are interested in gaining exposure to real-world projects that support critical infrastructure and the opportunity to learn how technology and business operations work together in a growing industrial technology company, this is a great opportunity!
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in technology, software, infrastructure, operations, business strategy, sales, marketing, or product development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data analysis tools, or project management platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to programming, databases, automation systems, or AI tools is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Support teams across engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and business development.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback reviews.
- Help evaluate and test emerging technologies (AI, Industrial IoT, computer vision, satellite communications).
- Support software testing, QA, and system documentation.
- Contribute to product management activities, including research and requirements gathering.
- Assist with sales and marketing materials, including presentations and case studies.
- Support customer onboarding, training, and ongoing customer success efforts.
- Develop documentation such as SOPs, reports, and training materials.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist with project coordination, planning, and tracking.
- Gain exposure to technologies supporting critical water and wastewater infrastructure.
