About The Position

Headquartered in Nashville, TN, we serve more than 1,700 customers across the United States, Canada, and Central & South America supporting utilities of all sizes with innovative technology and reliable service. We are seeking a full-time SCADA Technology & Business Intern to support cross-functional teams across technology, operations, sales, and business functions. This role provides hands-on experience with software systems, data analysis, customer engagement, and emerging technologies within the water and wastewater industry. If you are currently enrolled in a technical or business program of study and are interested in gaining exposure to real-world projects that support critical infrastructure and the opportunity to learn how technology and business operations work together in a growing industrial technology company, this is a great opportunity!

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in technology, software, infrastructure, operations, business strategy, sales, marketing, or product development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data analysis tools, or project management platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to programming, databases, automation systems, or AI tools is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support teams across engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Assist with data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback reviews.
  • Help evaluate and test emerging technologies (AI, Industrial IoT, computer vision, satellite communications).
  • Support software testing, QA, and system documentation.
  • Contribute to product management activities, including research and requirements gathering.
  • Assist with sales and marketing materials, including presentations and case studies.
  • Support customer onboarding, training, and ongoing customer success efforts.
  • Develop documentation such as SOPs, reports, and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with project coordination, planning, and tracking.
  • Gain exposure to technologies supporting critical water and wastewater infrastructure.
