About The Position

The SCADA Engineer designs, configures, and maintains systems for real-time monitoring and control of field operations. The role supports the safe, reliable, and secure operation of the electric grid by integrating field devices, developing operator-facing HMI displays and dashboards, and maintaining communications between systems and control centers. The engineer collaborates with IT, operational technology, field operations, and other grid-focused teams to support system functionality, cybersecurity compliance, and data integrity. The Grid Applications team provides engineering and lifecycle support for real-time electric-grid systems. Its SCADA environment uses the Emerson DGM platform, formerly OSI Monarch, and supports high- and low-voltage distribution and generation operations. Work spans EMS and ADMS applications, including real-time data acquisition and control, field-device integration, automation, alarms, visualization, and operational technology infrastructure. The position works with Control Room Operations, field technicians, engineering, IT, vendors, and other teams in a mission-critical 24x7 operating environment. The role includes rotating 24x7x365 on-call support.
