About The Position

The SCADA Engineer designs, configures, and maintains supervisory control and data acquisition systems for real-time monitoring and control of field operations. The role supports safe, reliable, and secure electric-grid operations, regulatory compliance, and Consumers Energy’s strategic goals. Responsibilities include integrating field devices, developing human-machine interface displays, and maintaining reliable communications between systems and control centers. The engineer collaborates with IT, operational technology, field operations, control room operations, technicians, engineering teams, and vendors to support system functionality, cybersecurity, and data integrity. The Grid Applications team provides engineering and lifecycle support for real-time systems used in electric-grid operations.
