About The Position

SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician IV-2M to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. This role involves performing Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M) to support the testing and repair of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Electronic Modules (EM). The technician will conduct corrective maintenance on circuit cards and electronic modules by troubleshooting and repairing faulty components. Responsibilities include conducting tests and experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings. The role also entails routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration, and testing, as well as in-line repair and testing, and operation of test equipment. The technician will install, maintain, repair, and modify various types of equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. Work will be performed using schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans for testing, checkout, and troubleshooting. The technician will also conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment, or component testing and analyze test results to determine valid recommendations and conclusions.

Requirements

  • HS/GED and 3 or more years’ experience
  • Current or past certification in Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M).
  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to work from schematics and engineering drawings

Responsibilities
