About The Position

SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician IV-2M to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. Perform Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M) supporting testing and repair of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Electronic Modules (EM). Performs corrective maintenance on circuit cards and electronic modules by troubleshooting and repairing the faulty cards and modules. Testing and evaluation: Conducting tests and experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings. Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment. Installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying various types of equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing. Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.

Requirements

  • HS/GED and 3 or more years’ experience
  • Current or past certification in Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M).
  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to work from schematics and engineering drawings
