About The Position

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to cut skins to special specs and make custom fit doors and lite dividers. This role requires adherence to production schedules, utilization of work instructions, and verification of correct parts. End of shift responsibilities include recording production information, updating the saw schedule, cleaning work areas, and submitting paperwork.

Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the role.
• Maintain Forklift certification.
• Maintain E21 certification and account, to include checking work order statuses.

Responsibilities

• Cut skins to special specs and make custom fit doors and lite dividers.
• Set up saw to proper specifications.
• Wear all required PPE according to plant safety matrix.
• Follow production schedule within the order presented.
• Obtain work instructions for product being produced by utilizing the specification book, computer in the “Saw Line Work Instructions”, and checking BOM notes for specials or special instructions.
• Verify correct parts have been set up at the saw and conduct 2nd verification checks.
• Maintain Forklift certification.
• Maintain E21 certification and account, to include checking work order statuses.
• Record production information.
• Update saw schedule.
• Clean Up and sweep around saw areas.
• Turn paperwork into the Group Leaders.
• Other duties as assigned.
