About The Position

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to cut skins to special specs and make custom fit doors and lite dividers. This role requires setting up the saw to proper specifications, wearing all required PPE, and following the production schedule. You will obtain work instructions, verify correct parts are set up, and conduct second verification checks. Maintaining Forklift and E21 certifications is also a key responsibility. End of shift duties include recording production information, updating the saw schedule, cleaning the work area, and submitting paperwork to Group Leaders. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the role.
• Maintain Forklift certification.
• Maintain E21 certification and account.

Responsibilities

• Cut skins to special specs and make custom fit doors and lite dividers.
• Set up saw to proper specifications.
• Wear all required PPE according to plant safety matrix.
• Follow production schedule within the order presented.
• Obtain work instructions for product being produced by utilizing the specification book, computer in the “Saw Line Work Instructions”, and checking BOM notes for specials or special instructions.
• Verify correct parts have been set up at the saw and conduct 2nd verification checks.
• Maintain Forklift certification.
• Maintain E21 certification and account, to include checking work order statuses.
• Record production information at end of shift.
• Update saw schedule at end of shift.
• Clean up and sweep around saw areas at end of shift.
• Turn paperwork into the Group Leaders at end of shift.
