About The Position

Tube Supply provides steel tube and bar in alloy, stainless, and carbon for oil and gas applications. The Saw Operator works with Operations Management to prioritize work orders and projects, handles and cuts raw material, and supports receiving, storage, inventory, quality, and workplace safety processes. The role also includes maintaining material traceability, checking equipment and tools, and complying with company policies.

Requirements

Experience as a Material Handler.
Experience with metal saw cutting.
Excellent forklift skills.
Good computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Work with Operations Management to prioritize work orders and other jobs or projects.
Complete daily tasks.
Cut and issue raw material, and allocate remaining material to the correct locations.
Receive material by identifying, tagging, and tallying it.
Report deficiencies to Management or a Supervisor.
Assist in organizing material storage systems.
Inspect equipment and tools daily to ensure proper calibration.
Use quality instruments to verify material requirements.
Clean the work area and surroundings.
Maintain traceability, including product description, heat number, lot number, and serial number.
Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts as needed.
Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply.
Perform other duties assigned by a Supervisor.
