About The Position

QuikCut is seeking detail-oriented metal Saw Operators for its fabrication team. The operator cuts raw metal materials to exact specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and production requirements are met. The role supports efficient manufacturing and supplies accurate, high-quality components to the next stage of production.

Requirements

• Experience operating industrial saws, band saws, circular saws, or other industrial cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure, blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring and cutting materials.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, move, and position heavy metal materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws to cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
• Measure and mark materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
• Verify material type, dimensions, and quantities before cutting.
• Inspect incoming materials for defects or damage and report quality concerns.
• Inspect completed cuts to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and equipment inspections.
