About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a split saw and setting up equipment in preparation for startup. The role involves ensuring the work area is equipped with all necessary tools and performing various tasks as assigned by leadership. Team members are expected to maintain a clean production area, monitor for debris, and work in specific environmental conditions. Requirements

Willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Willing and able to perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
Must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

Set up equipment in preparation for startup and operate the Split Saw.
Set up the area with all needed equipment and operate a powered tool to perform job tasks.
Perform LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) procedures as stated in LOTO training to lock out machinery.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on the floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Clean up the area at the end of the production shift, including sweeping, picking up debris, and spraying work areas.
Work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Perform tasks for periods of 8 hours on a concrete floor, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 8 hours.
