About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Saw Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience operating industrial cutting equipment who are looking for steady work with opportunities to grow and increase earnings based on skill level. You will be responsible for cutting and preparing materials using industrial saws while ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience operating industrial saws or similar equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round

Nice To Haves

• Pipe threading, beveling, or torching
• Additional machining or fabrication experience (higher pay potential)

Responsibilities

• Operate band saws, Hem saws, or other cutting equipment
• Measure and cut materials to specification using blueprints and work orders
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Assist with pipe threading, beveling, or torching as needed
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work with team members to meet production goals
