We are looking for Satellite System Engineers to collaborate on one of our projects in the space sector. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related field)
  • Several years of experience working on LEO/MEO satellite systems or sub-systems (e.g., payload, platform, bus, flight dynamics, operations, mission analysis, RF systems, ground segment, etc.)
  • Familiarity with requirements management, system budgets, trade-off analyses, and interface control
  • Experience participating in design, testing, integration, verification, and validation activities
  • Experience in supporting spacecraft operations teams in critical phases
  • Hands-on individual who can lead all systems integration processes
  • Experience with qualification and acceptance testing of new designs
  • Exposure to satellite development lifecycle phases (design, AIT, commissioning, operations)
  • Experience creating or using models and/or simulation software
  • Understanding of RF systems, spacecraft subsystems, or mission analysis is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in technical environments
  • Proficiency in English; French is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition and flow-down of system requirements from mission level to subsystem level
  • Support system architecture development and perform trade-off analyses
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including system requirements, design descriptions, interface documentation, and operational concepts (CONOPS)
  • Perform system-level analyses such as performance budgets, functional analyses, modeling and simulations
  • Support interface definition and management between subsystems (e.g., payload, platform, avionics, RF, ground segment)
  • Participate in design reviews and technical assessments (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
  • Contribute to integration, verification, and validation activities at subsystem and system levels
  • Develop or support test plans, procedures, and data analysis activities
  • Support qualification and acceptance testing campaigns
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hardware, software, RF, mechanical, and operations teams
  • Contribute to anomaly investigation and resolution during development, integration, or operational phases
  • Provide technical support during assembly, integration, environmental testing, and potentially in-orbit commissioning
