About The Position

AJ Tutoring is seeking bright, energetic, and passionate SAT tutors to join their professional 1-on-1 tutoring team in the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will be a college graduate who is conscientious, punctual, reliable, and excellent at communicating with students, parents, and colleagues. Tutors should be proactive, efficient, team-oriented, coachable, and enthusiastic. This role involves tutoring during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and requires a commitment to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week plus additional administrative work. Tutors will work at AJ Tutoring offices throughout the academic year (June 2027).

Requirements

• College graduate

• Master the SAT/ACT or an academic subject at the high school AP level (Pre-Calculus or Calculus, Physics, Computer Science, English, History, Biology, or Chemistry)
• Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week
• Work at AJ Tutoring through the upcoming academic year (June 2027)

Nice To Haves

• Background in education

Responsibilities

• Meet students in person
