About The Position

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT Chapter, Livingston, NJ) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT section specialist tutors for assignments with students in grades 9-12 in Livingston, NJ and surrounding communities. Tutors will provide in-person tutoring to students, with assignments typically lasting 60 minutes. These assignments are expected to be regular and reliable, generally scheduled between 2 PM and 8 PM EST during the week and between 10 AM - 4 PM on weekend days. Materials will be provided, and no marketing is required.

Requirements

Submit a resume which highlights the subjects you tutor and the length of time you have been tutoring (or teaching) in a paid capacity.
4-12 hours per week of availability
Earned Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching the Reading / Writing section of the Digital SAT
Strong past test scores
Exceptional communication skills
A passion for helping others learn

Responsibilities

Provide in-person tutoring to students in grades 9-12
Conduct tutoring assignments that are typically 60 minutes long
