About The Position

Elite Prep San Jose provides students in grades 5-12 with a challenging academic environment that promotes personal growth and discipline, develops the knowledge and skills necessary to unlock their academic potential, and ultimately assists them in gaining admission to the colleges and universities of their choice. We serve the communities of Burlingame, Mountain View, Fremont, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Fresno, Pleasanton, and San Ramon, as well as the San Jose and Milpitas Unified School Districts, and the Campbell and Los Gatos–Saratoga Union High School Districts.

Requirements

• Ability to commute/relocate to San Jose, CA 95118.
• Must work in person in San Jose.

Responsibilities

• Teach and/or tutor individual students, small groups, and classes of up to 18 students.
• Plan classes around provided class material.
• Handle attendance and other academic record keeping.
• Complete student evaluations.
• Be consulted about curriculum design.
• Attend faculty meetings and workshops.
