About The Position

Nexttech is seeking an experienced SAP Vistex Functional Pricing Architect to design, optimize, and evolve complex enterprise pricing processes within an SAP environment. The role focuses on SAP Vistex Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP), SAP pricing architecture, and translating complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable pricing solutions. The architect will define functional pricing architecture and governance, design Vistex price review, proposal, and approval processes, and support price books, catalogs, simulations, and scenario analysis. The position also involves defining integration requirements with SAP SD and related components, supporting SAP HANA and applicable SAP S/4HANA environments, and collaborating with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams throughout implementation and rollout. The role includes facilitating workshops, preparing functional specifications and process documentation, supporting configuration and testing, resolving defects, and assisting with business validation and User Acceptance Testing. Requirements

Deep hands-on functional experience with SAP Vistex Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP).
Proven experience designing complex enterprise pricing solutions in SAP environments.
Hands-on experience with Vistex Price Review, Price Proposal, and Price Approval processes.
Strong experience designing and managing Vistex Price Books and Price Catalogs.
Practical knowledge of pricing simulations and scenario-based pricing analysis.
Strong understanding of SAP pricing architecture, condition techniques, and SAP SD integration.
Experience translating complex business pricing requirements into scalable functional solution designs.
Strong understanding of pricing governance, approval workflows, and enterprise price-management processes.
Experience defining functional integration requirements across SAP systems and modules.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and user interfaces.
Experience working with SAP HANA-based environments.
Strong functional documentation, process-design, and requirements-analysis skills.
Excellent stakeholder-management and communication capabilities across business and technical teams.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to evaluate complex pricing scenarios and dependencies.

Responsibilities

Design enterprise pricing strategies and processes using SAP Vistex Data Maintenance and Pricing (DMP).
Define scalable functional architecture for price setting, maintenance, governance, and approval processes.
Translate business pricing requirements into robust, maintainable Vistex solution designs and consistent functional patterns.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize pricing processes, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture and business needs.
Design and configure Vistex Price Review, Price Proposal, and Price Approval processes.
Define approval workflows, pricing governance models, and authorization hierarchies.
Design and maintain Price Books and Price Catalogs according to business requirements.
Support pricing simulations, scenario analysis, and impact assessments before implementation.
Define price-maintenance processes and ensure pricing rules and approval processes are transparent, auditable, and maintainable.
Define integration requirements between Vistex and the surrounding SAP landscape, including SAP SD and related business processes.
Analyze dependencies between pricing, master data, sales processes, and downstream SAP components.
Support solution design in SAP HANA-based environments and SAP S/4HANA landscapes where applicable.
Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, integration teams, solution architects, and distributed implementation teams to maintain end-to-end solution consistency and coordinate dependencies.
Identify integration risks, functional dependencies, and potential impacts across the SAP ecosystem.
Work with business stakeholders to understand pricing models, operational requirements, and governance needs.
Facilitate functional workshops and support decisions about pricing architecture and process design.
Prepare and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation, and process-design materials.
Support configuration, testing, defect resolution, and implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Define functional test scenarios and support business validation and User Acceptance Testing.
Provide functional guidance and architectural expertise throughout implementation and rollout activities.
