About The Position

The SAP Architect will design the overall enterprise system blueprint and ensure SAP modules and cloud components integrate securely. The role works with business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate existing solutions, and provide an end-to-end perspective. The architect will guide a team and conduct research and development to complete specifications. This position is part of the GROUP platform, focuses on finance, and contributes to the finance strategy roadmap across multiple projects. The project is 100% remote, and candidates must be located in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.

Requirements

• 10+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• At least two full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Functional expertise in SAP Finance, particularly Core Finance (GL, AR, AP, FA) and Project Systems.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience, including Fiori apps and Analysis for Office.
• Experience with interfaces, IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and basic debugging.
• Experience in multi-company-code and multi-currency environments.
• Proficiency in functional and integration testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Implement and enhance S/4HANA Finance innovations, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Fiori Apps, and Embedded Analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.
• Lead multiple SAP implementations, focusing on S/4HANA or substantial ECC environments.
• Provide Level 3 application support for finance modules, monitor system performance, and deliver enhancements.
• Support integrations with banking platforms, treasury systems, tax engines, and third-party financial applications.
• Support go-live activities, hyper-care, and post-production support.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate existing solutions, and help define the enterprise system blueprint and finance strategy roadmap.
