SAP SuccessFactors & ECC CHR Payroll Consultant
About The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SuccessFactors & ECC CHR Payroll Consultant to support live production HR and payroll systems. This role is production-support focused, requiring strong ownership of payroll operations, issue resolution, and system stability. The consultant will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Further project details will be shared in the coming days. The role is focused on production stability and payroll ownership, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable owning payroll in a production environment and remain calm and decisive during payroll cut-off and critical business periods.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC CHR Payroll (On-Premise)
- Proven experience supporting live production payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of payroll processing, troubleshooting, and payroll controls
- Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central in a support role
- Strong understanding of SF → ECC integration and data replication
- Experience handling production incidents, RCA, and payroll escalations
- Ability to work independently under time-sensitive payroll deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience with payroll audits and compliance support
- Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA
- Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support for SAP ECC CHR Payroll (on-premise)
- Own and support live payroll cycles, including critical payroll cut-off days
- Analyze and resolve payroll issues related to schemas, rules, retro calculations, and master data
- Perform pre-payroll and post-payroll validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Support SuccessFactors Employee Central data issues impacting payroll
- Troubleshoot SuccessFactors to ECC data replication and integration issues
- Monitor payroll logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Handle incidents and service requests in an SLA-driven production environment
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders during payroll-critical situations
- Support audits, compliance checks, and payroll controls as required
