About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay to join our HR Technology practice. This role is designed for professionals who can lead complex compensation transformation initiatives, manage senior stakeholders, and ensure delivery excellence. You will be responsible for solution ownership, program leadership, and strategic advisory across compensation planning, incentive design, and performance-linked pay programs. This is not an entry-level or mid-level role. Only candidates with proven senior-level experience in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay will be considered. Requirements

  • Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay.
  • Strong understanding of total rewards, compensation cycles, and incentive program design.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale compensation implementations.
  • Expertise in compensation planning configuration, bonus calculations, and performance-based pay structures.
  • Strong stakeholder management and strategic advisory skills.
  • Ability to lead global teams across onshore/offshore models.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors consulting.
  • At least 3 full-cycle implementations of Compensation and/or Variable Pay modules.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and/or Variable Pay certification.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals or Employee Central.
  • Familiarity with broader Total Rewards and HR transformation programs.
  • Exposure to global compensation frameworks and multi-country implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and Rewards leaders on compensation strategy, planning cycles, and incentive programs.
  • Lead client workshops to define compensation frameworks, bonus structures, and governance models.
  • Translate business and total rewards strategies into scalable system-driven solutions aligned with best practices.
  • Lead full-cycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules.
  • Oversee configuration of compensation templates, bonus plans, eligibility rules, and payout calculations.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Performance Management, Employee Central, and Finance systems.
  • Own end-to-end solution design across compensation planning, variable pay calculations, and reporting.
  • Drive adoption of SAP best practices for merit increases, promotions, equity planning, and incentive payouts.
  • Introduce automation and analytics to improve compensation accuracy, transparency, and decision-making.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including functional consultants, integration specialists, and offshore delivery teams.
  • Maintain project timelines, risk mitigation plans, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with contractual commitments and exceeds client expectations.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with change management teams to support compensation transformation initiatives.
  • Lead training sessions and enablement programs for HR, Finance, and leadership stakeholders.
