About The Position

Siemens is seeking an SAP Production Support Professional in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to provide technical support for the Siemens Spiridon SAP system. The role primarily focuses on Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management/Warehouse Management (MM/WM), with knowledge of Project Systems (PS), ERP systems, and Quality Management (QM) also needed or to be developed. The specialist works with business users to keep the system running efficiently, resolve day-to-day issues, support system changes advised by Siemens Corporate, and train users. The position also coordinates globally with the SherpaX implementation team to support implementation of BKA SAP in alignment with OneTech Company and SherpaX initiatives. The role is primarily on-site and supports manufacturing operations. It involves maintaining SAP manufacturing processes and data, resolving issues including COGI, developing documentation, supporting testing and upgrades, and coordinating with corporate SAP support and internal teams. The specialist also delivers end-user training and assists with master data updates, engineering changes, and intra-company business.

Requirements

Understand how to query the SAP system, understand ERP systems, and manage data in Excel.
Have 2–4 years of manufacturing value-chain experience, including fabrication, and be able to apply this knowledge to virtual processes in SAP.
Have a solid grasp of SAP production transactions, sales and distribution, and project systems related to engineering practices and their linkage to manufacturing.
Have superb communication skills.
Have prepared and presented SAP training.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of FICO.
Knowledge of Project Systems (PS), ERP systems, and Quality Management (QM), or ability to develop that knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and maintenance for the SAP manufacturing system.
Work primarily on-site to validate SAP actions, support manufacturing, and collaborate with colleagues.
Work with business users to ensure the SAP system runs smoothly and efficiently.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP issues, primarily in PP, SD, and MM, with a basic understanding of FICO desired.
Understand the flow from Design Engineering to Order Engineering and assist either department with SAP-related issues.
Apply expertise in bill of materials (BOM) usages and types.
Update and maintain plant-level material master data, coordinating actions with various groups.
Participate in the Broken Arrow COGI team to fix and resolve COGI issues.
Provide feedback to responsible personnel to help eliminate repetitive COGI caused by user error or process problems.
Run SAP reports, search for specific data as requested, and manipulate exported SAP data in Excel.
Develop and maintain documentation for Switchgear SAP processes.
Participate in testing and implementation of new functionality or upgrades for Switchgear SAP modules.
Coordinate with Siemens Corporate SAP support personnel to suggest new or improved functionality.
Train end users on Switchgear and Siemens transactions and process flows.
Assist with master data updates and engineering changes as needed.
Assist with intra-company business as needed.
Coordinate globally with the SherpaX implementation team on BKA SAP implementation aligned with OneTech Company and SherpaX initiatives.
