SAP SD SA Consultant
Job Summary: The Senior SAP SD Consultant at Syntax plays a critical role in leading high-priority, short-term projects while enhancing our SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) capabilities. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring quality in implementations, and contributing to pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive experience in SAP to guide teams and drive improvements in our SD intellectual property.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP.
• Over 10 years of experience in SAP, with a focus on Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about project outcomes.
• Candidates must have the ability to work in Canada. Syntax does not provide sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in leading teams and managing client relationships.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the SAP SD space.
• Knowledge of best practices in SAP implementation and project management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead SD consultant for high-priority, shorter-term projects.
• Assist in pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, client discovery sessions, and preparation and delivery of product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with the SD competency lead to conduct quality assurance checks on SD implementations.
• Work alongside the SD competency lead to drive enhancements in Syntax’s SD intellectual property and delivery capabilities.
• Take the lead in designing complex SD enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP functionalities.
• Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams developing leading-edge solutions in the SD space, including mobile solutions and business intelligence applications.
