SAP SD Consultant with EDI
About The Position
DXC Technology is seeking an SAP SD Consultant with EDI expertise to analyze business requirements and deliver end-to-end SAP Sales and Distribution solutions. The role supports SAP SD processes across Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, and Customer Master Data, while working with business users and integration teams on EDI requirements. It includes designing, configuring, and troubleshooting IDoc interfaces for customer and third-party integrations, as well as supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects. The consultant will perform testing and production support, resolve IDoc and EDI issues, and collaborate across SAP functional and technical teams. The role requires strong Order-to-Cash knowledge, substantial SAP SD experience, and hands-on experience with common EDI message types and IDoc monitoring tools. Requirements
- 9–10 years of SAP SD experience.
- Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Billing and Invoicing, Pricing and Output Determination, Customer Master Data, Credit Management, Returns, and Intercompany Processes.
- Strong knowledge of EDI and IDoc integration.
- Experience with ORDERS (Sales Orders), ORDRSP (Order Response), DESADV (Advanced Shipping Notice), INVOIC (Invoice), and DELFOR / DELJIT.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting IDocs using WE02, WE05, WE20, and BD87.
- Good understanding of EDI standards such as EDIFACT and ANSI X12.
- Experience integrating SAP with customers, logistics providers, and external systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in global implementation and support environments.
