About The Position

North Point Technology is hiring a Senior SAP SD Consultant to lead Order-to-Cash design, configuration, and support in SAP S/4HANA for a global automotive and industrial manufacturing client. The role is based in Novi, Michigan, with an onsite or hybrid work arrangement, and is contract to hire. The consultant will work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams across the SAP SD/OTC lifecycle, from fit-to-standard workshops and process design through implementation, testing, go-live, and production support. The position includes configuring and supporting core sales processes, integrations, and advanced available-to-promise functionality, as well as documenting processes and functional specifications. Requirements

10 or more years of hands-on SAP SD experience.
At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or ECC-to-S/4 conversion.
Strong experience configuring pricing, billing, and output determination.
EDI/IDoc experience in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of SAP SD integration with FI, MM, and PP.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Automotive or industrial manufacturing background.
SAP S/4HANA Sales certification.

Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP SD/Order-to-Cash end to end, including sales orders, pricing and condition technique, delivery, billing, returns, intercompany, third-party, and consignment.
Lead fit-to-standard workshops, document AS-IS and TO-BE processes, and recommend clean-core solutions.
Write functional specifications for RICEF objects and coordinate with ABAP, integration, and Fiori teams through build and testing.
Support EDI/IDoc integrations, including ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, and INVOIC, as well as API-based interfaces.
Configure and troubleshoot aATP, including product allocation and backorder processing.
Lead SIT and UAT support, defect triage, and go-live readiness.
Provide production support and root-cause analysis after go-live.
Work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
