About The Position

The SAP Logistics Specialist supports and optimizes SAP logistics modules to promote efficient material flow, inventory accuracy, and production support in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role works closely with supply chain, production, procurement, and IT teams to improve systems and operations. The specialist manages and supports SAP MM, WM/EWM, and PP; maintains material master data, bills of materials, and inventory transactions; troubleshoots issues affecting logistics, warehouse, and production operations; and supports inbound and outbound logistics processes. The position also contributes to SAP enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement, maintains process documentation, trains end users, and analyzes data and generates reports for KPIs, planning, and decision-making.

Requirements

3–7+ years of experience in SAP logistics within a manufacturing environment; automotive experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of SAP MM, WM/EWM, and PP; SD is a plus.
Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and production support.
Proven ability to troubleshoot SAP issues and improve business processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in an automotive or Tier 1 supplier environment.
Familiarity with JIT/JIS, lean manufacturing, and plant logistics.
SAP S/4HANA experience.
Experience with system implementations or migrations.

Responsibilities

Manage and support SAP logistics modules, including MM (Materials Management), WM/EWM (Warehouse Management), and PP (Production Planning).
Ensure accurate material master data, bills of materials, and inventory transactions in SAP.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues affecting logistics, warehouse, and production operations.
Support inbound and outbound logistics processes, including goods receipt, put away, picking, and shipping.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system workflows and material flow efficiency.
Lead or support SAP enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and transaction integrity.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for SAP logistics processes.
Provide training and support to end users on SAP functionality.
Analyze data and generate reports to support KPIs, planning, and decision-making.
