About The Position

The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) is a global, strategic, paid internship program designed to provide university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This internship is positioned as the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact. The role of the Event Intern is to support the Marketing Content and Engagement team in promoting and executing global third-party events, as well as SAP's user community event in Las Vegas in October 2026. The intern will assist with event management, execution, and communication, gaining hands-on experience and developing new skills.

Requirements

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Exposure to social media and understanding of pull marketing
• Understanding of the role of events in the mix of marketing channels
• Strong customer/user-focused mindset
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Willing to travel if needed

Responsibilities

• Supporting key activities and executional elements at events, including show floor, break-out sessions, and special programs.
• Supporting administrative tasks such as weekly updates and managing back-end processes.
• Working closely with the communications lead and content lead to support and ensure alignment and execution of all tasks required.
• Supporting the communications strategy with website updates and organization of content for the web team.
• Assisting in compiling content from multiple sources into a weekly report for marketing leadership.
