About The Position

The SAP Internship Experience Program (iXp) is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and implementing SAP-based full-stack applications, including front-end, back-end, and database integration. They will work with SAP HANA Cloud for data storage, processing, and advanced analytics, and use SAP Fiori or SAPUI5 for front-end development to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The role involves implementing back-end logic using full-stack frameworks or Node.js/Java in conjunction with SAP services, and integrating third-party APIs within the SAP ecosystem. The intern will participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality performance and functionality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project requirements. Staying up-to-date with SAP's evolving technology stack is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

• Position is in Palo Alto and employees need to be in SAP office in Palo Alto.
• Ability to work full time for 40 hours per weeks is mandatory.
• Masters in computer science or equivalent who has already graduated or will graduate in next couple weeks in summer.
• Has strong full stack expertise with exposure data & ML/AI
• Past work experience is added advantage.

Nice To Haves

• A foundational understanding of SAP technologies, such as SAP HANA, SAPUI5, or SAP Fiori
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP HANA Cloud
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks for application development
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, especially within SAP ecosystems
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
• Any relevant project experience with full-stack development

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing SAP-based full-stack applications, including front-end, back-end, and database integration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and other development teams, to align on project requirements and deliverables
• Stay up-to-date with SAP's evolving technology stack, including new full-stack tools, frameworks, and methodologies
