About The Position

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking an SAP professional with a proven track record in the full software project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support. The role requires flexibility to take on different responsibilities depending on the size and scope of a client engagement, as well as experience implementing successful SAP applications and solutions. The consultant will work with SAP functional and technical consultants to develop system and solution integrations using SAP Integration Suite and Process Orchestration. The position can be based anywhere in the United States, preferably near a Hitachi office, and requires travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of SAP PI/PO/BTP Integration Suite experience.
• Systems implementation skills, including requirements and process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Consulting skills including team facilitation, business case development, business analysis, process mapping, business process redesign, and implementation.
• Experience with functional and technical specification development.
• Experience implementing coding standards.
• Experience working with onsite and offshore development teams.
• Ability to travel.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and EDI formats such as EDIFACT or ANSI X12.
• Experience working with REST, OData, SOAP, JDBC, IDoc, AS2, SFTP, and LDAP protocols and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support across the software project lifecycle.
• Develop system and solution integrations for SAP using Integration Suite and Process Orchestration in collaboration with functional and technical consultants.
• Design, develop, and deploy complex SAP Cloud Integration flows (iFlows).
• Work with SAP Integration Suite components, including SAP API Management, SAP Event Mesh or Advanced Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Support migrations from SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO/PI) to SAP Integration Suite.
• Develop functional and technical specifications and implement coding standards.
• Work with onsite and offshore development teams.
• Contribute to requirements and process analysis, conceptual and detailed designs, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
